Jeannette has spoken at sober homes and other recovery facilities across the country. She quickly gains trust and forges bonds — some of them lifelong — by sharing her own personal experiences with loss and grief. She offers respect to everyone, making clear that no one is beyond hope, and everyone deserves love.

Reaching young people early is critical, and Jeannette knows how to inspire children and youth to find healthy ways to cope with life's stress. Rather than scolding and shaming, she motivates and uplifts.

To prevent more unnecessary deaths and truly end the overdose crisis, we have to change policy. That starts at the community level. Jeannette brings practical, applicable ideas to city leaders and law enforcement. As one officer said, "We can't arrest our way out of this crisis."

Jeannette is happy to speak with members of the news media and film industry. She is knowledgable about the data behind the drug epidemic and is transparent about her family's own experience. As she has gone on the record to say, she will pick at her own scabs to help others heal theirs.
